If you haven’t heard the exciting news yet, then WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!? IKEA has chosen our city for it’s newest location and the time has come for the huge grand opening, December 14th, 2016.
Memphis natives and the IKEA team together are gearing up for the big launch and the excitement around the grand opening is built to the max! This Wednesday, in celebration of IKEA’s newest home Lafayette’s Music Room, in Overton Square, in conjunction with Southern Living and IKEA are hosting the Meet Me In Memphis Battle of the Bands Launch Party. Of course, with Midtown being my home and IKEA being one of the number one places I shop online, I have RSVP’d to this shindig!
I have had many friends and readers ask, “Alexandra, we got tickets to the party but what should we wear?” Being at Lafayette’s you could wear your average Friday night fashions but because this event is extra special, it calls for a little extra glam.
I will be wearing this faux leatherette top, sequinned skirt, and a gold Coach clutch from Sugar Plum Consignments paired with a statement necklace, bracelet, and shoes from The Ivory Closet!
Can you believe I got my clothing items for less than $65? YEA…I can’t either. If you are looking for an outfit for this Wednesday nights party, check out Sugarplum Consignments’ party looks for less!
I hope to see you all this Wednesday night at Lafayette’s Music Room for IKEA’s Pre-Opening Party and don’t forget, bring your dancing shoes because this is going to be a celebration you will not forget!
