3 Simple Fall Fashion Transition Tips

I know, I know, how can we think about fall when it is still pretty hot outside! In this post, I am sharing a few transitional items that you can add to your wardrobe now, to be fall fashion ready!

Fall Bag

I am a firm believer that one should invest in a great seasonal bag rather than blowing through one cheap bag every month. I love Got It In The Bag‘s personal shopping service because not only do they know the latest trends, but they chat with me to understand what type of bag I need for the season and help to match me with a designer luxury purse that will meet all of my needs!

Structured Pieces

You can make a statement this fall without having to be fashionably uncomfortable. I love tops that are uniquely structured such as this one from Shelby Jewel boutique. Notice how the shoulders look to have pads, but they don’t, and the waist is accordion cinched to give off that a line cut without being too tight. Check out some other great seasonal tops from shopbop here!

Transitional Nudes

You can never go wrong with the perfect nude accessory. Nude is popular year round and is perfect for wardrobe transition pieces. During the change of seasons, I will usually accessorize with nude bags and shoes. When it is warmer, I will go with strappy nude heels and then move into a close toed type of nude heel (see below) as we progress into the cooler months. Of course when we go full blown winter, boots are a must but usually I have moved into darker hues by that time.
