3 Simple Sick Day Traditions

While all of the reviews in this post are my own, this post has been sponsored by Halls.

I love this time of year. The fall foliage is beautiful, warm crisp scents kiss the air, and the beginnings of holiday happiness begin to cultivate. All is bliss in the fall with one exception, coughs and colds which tend to put a damper on my Fall festivities. I guess the best I can do is to make these days less uncomfortable by going through my 3 simple sick day traditions.

Make The Most Of The Time At Home

It seems that when one of us is sick, it can spread to everyone else. We try to make the best of our, often familial, situation by snuggling up and reading a good book. Not only is it a little family time but it also helps my oldest to further his reading skills!

Have Halls on Hand

I love Halls Cough Drops because it helps to eliminate one of my biggest ailments during cold season, an annoying cough. Halls relieve coughs due to colds and minor throat irritation. Nothing is more embarrassing than attending a play, movie, or important meeting and have to cough. This is why I keep Halls in my purse, work bag, and medicine cabinet. My favorite is the honey lemon flavor! I also love that Halls comes in many different sizes. You can get a 9, 14, 30, 40, 80, or 160 counts, small enough for a clutch or large enough to share with the entire family.

Whip up One of My Sick Day Soups

Soup always warms me up and keeps me cozy while watching movies on the couch. There are about 3 go-to soups that I like to whip up to beat the sniffles. My recommendation is soups that are less creamy and made with all-natural ingredients.
