Best Blog Conferences + TBSCon

Every year I look forward to my most favorite blog conferences! I just got back from TBS Con put on by The Blog Societies and I think it may have just changed my life.

This year 75 bloggers representing 18 states attended the annual Blog Societies blog conference and I happened to be one of them. TBS Con is on my list for best blog conferences. It is a very intimate annual weekend conference where bloggers attend to share best practices, learn new strategies and blogging concepts, participate in workshops and creative outbreaks, gain insight from professionals in the field, connect with established national brands, and cultivate lasting friendships.

DAY 1

The first day all the attendees arrive and got checked in before attending the opening night party. At the party, we enjoy libations and horderves while connecting with brands and passing out our media kits. Every year I make connections that lead to lasting future business opportunities. Once networking was all wrapped up, we had a beautiful sit down dinner at the Barnsley Resort veranda.

DAY 2

We started Day 2 with a beautiful breakfast at the Barnsley Resort ruins and then headed off to our first day of classes! Each blogger was scheduled 4 out of 8 available classes based on our choices of the classes we were most interested in. These classes were not just basic entry level classes, the depth and detail put into the lectures made these classes informative, even for a 7 year experienced blogger such as myself. I even got a pretty amazing business idea from one of my lectures!

After our classes we enjoyed a sponsored lunch by Marc Fisher. They had some pretty amazing fall shoes to showcase and the food was delish!

Creative breakout sessions were scheduled after lunch. Mine was floral arranging with some of my best blogger pals!

I have to admit, I am not the best flower arranger but I learned so much! I am still not the best but my skills were exercised in to being able to create a decent small arrangement piece. I was so excited that we had some time to explore the beautiful Barnsley resort after the breakout sessions. I decided to enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment which had me wishing I had time for 3 more! After relaxation time, we all got ready for the Yankee Candle sponsored dinner and an evening under the stars eating smores.

DAY 3

Day 3 rolled around and I must say, I woke up ready to conquer. With so many new ideas and a to do list that had grown 3 pages, I was excited to add some of the speakers’ insights. We went down to breakfast and then headed on over to the conference room.

There were 3 speakers all with very interesting information to share. We learned about the legal landscape for influencers, how to grow our Instagrams naturally, and how to create email campaigns for online courses.

This weekend is the ultimate girls inspiration trip that I look forward to every year! This is why I have added TBS Con to my list of Best Blog Conferences!
