Everyone knows how I am so excited about the 90’s fashion making it’s rounds again and with it comes the velvet fabrics. In this post I put a 1920’s spin on a 1990’s trend.

The super sexy fabric cuts of the 90’s featuring the tube dress and bodycon fits are coming back this fall. I love the 90’s dominatrix additions to a lot of this season’s pieces like the strappy chest details or metal grommet hardwares. The “Only One” Velvet Midi Bodycon dress from Tobi is a beautiful deep navy velvet piece with elastic straps on the v-neck and continuing down and across the back. I decided to accessorize this outfit with items inspired from another one of my favorite eras, the 1920’s. My feather bracelet and necklace piece has a beautiful art deco design and the peacock straw clutch from Kate Spade also has an art deco look. I love my Dolce Vita gold washed pumps with this look. They really go with any outfit so I am sure you will see me sporting these in future posts!
