Small Foyer Decorating

If you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year, you will probably want to get the house decked in festive decor. Don’t worry, you don’t have to go all out and blow your food budget on decorations. Your main focus for getting your home Thanksgiving ready should be small foyer decorating and your tablescape. These two small areas will wow your guests and set the mood for your Thanksgiving get together. In this post, I am going to give you a few quick ideas for decorating your home for Thanksgiving.

Choosing Your Color Scheme

You need to decide the color scheme that you would like to showcase. My favorite way to do this is to go to a craft shop or florist and pick your favorite flower bundles. All of the flowers will be fall blooms and therefore will offer fall hues.

Find Fall Decor

I love going to TJ Maxx and finding cute little timeless nick nacks. Wooden words, glass pumpkins, brass or gold color sticks are all perfect pieces to create an appealing foyer or dining room display.

I found beautiful silk flowers at Michael’s to fill my flower pails. You can also use a styrofoam ball to put in the bottom of your pail for keeping your flowers in place.

I love large tablescapes and the same types of items that you chose for your foyer are going to make beautiful centerpieces.
