When I purchased my new home it had an outdated wet bar in the living room. It was one of the features that I loved because I knew the potential behind a quick renovation. So first things first, the demolition of the old wet bar. My original bar had an old sink, formica countertops, folding doors, and outdated cabinetry. It was super cute but I knew I wanted something that added statement to my living room, so we began pulling out the old set up to make room for the new.
Because there was already a sink set up, Greg knew that we could easily replace parts without having to hire a plumber. We turned off the water and untied the sink hoses.
As you can see, the bones of the sink are in place so we just needed to build around that. I went to Home Outlet to pick out my granite countertop and cabinets. I really wanted to put in a little feminine twist with a bird patterned wallpaper. I have started calling my home the birdhouse since I have so many beautiful bird patterned wallpaper accents throughout from Photowall.
Finally, it was time to install my cabinetry. What a difference in the cabinets I got from Home Outlet versus my old cabinetry? I love the beveled doors and brushed nickel hardware and the black granite countertop adds an element of class that was not there before. I got my wine fridge and sink on Amazon as Home Outlet does not carry these items but they complimented the Home Outlet pieces wonderfully!
What a transformation!? I am thoroughly enjoying having a mini wine fridge in my living room for easier access to beverages and snacks. I am also super impressed with all the items I got from Home Outlet. You just can’t beat the price!
