While the photos show what we made for Jack’s teacher from the class this year, you can substitute the Christmas tree for a faux plant or even a bouquet of flowers to make this an appropriate gift for any occasion.

Teacher Christmas Tree

This unique teacher’s gift is super simple. Reach out to the class to see if the other parents would like to donate gift cards for the class gift. I was the room mom in Jack’s class last year so I sent notes home with each child in an envelope. Of course, I reached out to the teacher ahead of time to ask her if Jack could put an envelope in each classmate’s take-home folder as we were working on a special gift for her.
The letter notified the parents that I would be working on a class gift from all of the students and, while it is not mandatory, if they would like to donate a gift card, I would be happy to include it on the tree. I did include a due date for the gift cards to make sure I had ample time to get the gift prepared for the school holiday party.

Then, I tied the bow to the top of the tree, clipped all of the gift cards on the branches like little ornaments, and hung a cute, personalized ornament on the tree. This tree was an absolute hit and made gift giving for the parents much easier!
