The 90’s are back and going strong with trends from crop tops and Doc Martins, to the colorful nails, hair clips, and hair scrunchies. Not all of us are little spring chickens like we were in the actual 90’s but, there are some styles that us mom’s can recycle and re-rock! In this post, I am sharing my favorite 90’s hair styles and a few of the more modern hair accessories that I love from Kitsch.
Hair Scrunchies – For the Modern Mom
When the early 2000’s hit, I tossed my scrunchies and completely forgot why I loved them in the first place until the roaring 2020’s arrived and the infamous scrunchie was back on top with a twist! I am loving the velvet nude, mauves and tie dyed scrunchies that we are all wearing around our wrists and in our hair. Remember when Brittany Spears “Did it Again” in her little scrunchie pigtails and school girl skirt? I am “bringing sexy back” with a more conservative low pigtail and velvet scrunch! These Kitsch Tie Dyed Rust Scrunchies are the perfect size for smaller braids or pigtails but large enough for the traditional ole’ pony.
Hair Clips – To Make You Sparkle
Move over Gwen Stephanie, I have No Doubt that these clips will make you Go Bananas! I have to admit, I wasn’t totally in to the jeweled hair pins of the 90’s but I am here for it today! Is my inner gawdy mom personality coming out? Wearing a few fun clips or bedazzled bobby pins side by side is all the rage on the runways. It is a super easy look that can take day hair straight in to night! These Kitsch Rose Gold and Silver Rhinestone Bobby Pins will quickly transform your look!
XL Volume Scrunchie – For an Over the Top Kind of Gal
We all need to be a little extra from time to time. I choose to save it with my attitude and go over the top with my hair. This Kitsch XL Volume Scrunchie is amazing for a chic evening look and it actually gives the appearance of bigger hair, meaning added volume in a flash!
