Holiday Makeup for 30s

When we were in our 20s it was all about the sparkles when it came to holiday makeup, but as our skin has aged, it’s best to keep sparkles to a minimum and focus more on a glow. In this post, I am sharing my holiday glow makeup for 30s. Oh, and it just so happens, you can snag the items I use for 15% off at the Sephora inside of Kohl’s this weekend!

Foundation Makeup for 30s

I love the Makeup Forever HD Skin. This liquid foundation is undetectable and amazing at blurring and covering imperfections for up to 24 hours, This product has a micro-skin system that syncs with your skin for true-to-skin finish. I am wearing shade 2Y20. Did I mention that it is waterproof?

To get a glowing finish I mixed my foundation with Fenty Beauty All Over Glow for a subtle-glow enhancer with skin-loving ingredients for natural-looking illumination.

Concealer for your 30s

I have noticed my under eye area becoming a little more creepy and dry which means I have to be very intentional when choosing a concealer formula. I was using Tarte’s Shape Tape for years but recently it started to enhance my under says wrinkles. That’s when I discovered the Shape Tape Creamy Formula.

Brow Product in your 30s

Since we are discussing our skin and its changes in our 30s, has anyone noticed their brows becoming more sparse? I know I have, I really like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz for filling in my brows to achieve a very natural and full look.

Blush and Contour in your 30s

I use creme based products to get that all day glow. Rare Beauty has come out with some super beautiful melting creme blush. I am wearing the “nearly apricot” on my cheeks. I contoured using my favorite Fenty Truffle Contour Stick and highlighted with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Highlighter.

Eye Makeup in your 30s

For my eyes, I really like the Buxom Forever Babe Iconic Nudes Shadows Set. It has a great mix of matte and shimmer shades. I primarily use the mate shades and just add a pop of shimmer to the center of my lid to add a little holiday sparkle. I used Sephora’s Black Liquid Liner to create a pretty winged look.

The Perfect Red Lipstick in your 30s

I am super picky when it comes to my reds. I like a blue red over an orange or pink red. I also like my liner to be slightly darker. Sephora’s Bad Apple lip liner is The perfect shade paired with Sephora’s Matte Lipstick Never Underdressed Shade 27.

And three you have it, the perfect look for the middle aged ladies who want to glow this holiday season.

Have you reached your 30s and are curious about some simple makeup changes you can make to get your glow back? No worries, I have a post for that HERE.
