I am super excited to join fellow St Jude affiliated bloggers in our efforts to raise money for a cause very near and dear to my heart.
Earlier this year I took the St. Jude tour through the hospital and got to hear a story told by a patient and his mother about their journey through childhood cancer. First off, what a magnificent hospital. It is unbelievable that they are completely non-profit ran! They don’t take one cent from their patients who come for treatment. What a God send! Secondly, the story I heard from the patient and his mother ripped my heart to shreds. I am so blessed thus far to have 2 healthy boys but for all of the mothers who have not been so fortunate, my heart bleeds for them. I can’t imagine the heart break, worry, and sadness that comes along with seeing your baby suffer through cancer. Being helpless to your baby’s pain and sickness. This year, I am raising money, and actually running as well, to support the families and children living through the darkness of childhood cancer.
