Looking for the hottest wedding venue in the mid-south? In this post, I will share all of the reasons why we enjoyed having our party at the Hyatt Centric Beale Street in Memphis, TN and share some of our favorite wedding moments, as well as local vendors!
Venue | Hyatt Centric Beale Street
Honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better location for our event. Because we were married during Covid at a court house, we really only wanted to do a wedding party and exchange of vowels without a formal ceremony so the prep time was very minimal for our event. This left us an entire day to enjoy the Hyatt Centric’s amenities. We arrived at the hotel around noon so that we could enjoy an afternoon in the pool with friends before heading up to our suite to get ready. Our Matraite Matthew was the best host for our time at the venue. While at the pool during the day, he brought us champagne on ice to get our wedding festivities off to a great start! We enjoyed a late lunch in the CIMAS lounge downstairs before heading up to our suite to get ready.
As the bride and groom, the Hyatt gave us one of their beautiful river view suites as part of our wedding package. I love how the decorated the rooms uniquely for a total Memphis vibe. To welcome our parents, who were also staying at the hotel for the evening, the Hyatt included a bottle of wine or champagne and snacks in their rooms while we were at our party for a little evening turndown service and of course, they had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting in the room for Greg and I after the party!
The Nolan Masquerade Ball | Event
We had our event in the hotel’s Foundry Ballroom. I loved the rustic yet classy style of the venue! It was super easy to put a wedding together at the Hyatt. They included all of the chairs, tables, linens, dinner menus, and food for our event. All I needed to do was bring the cake, center pieces, and place cards. They made my party planning process seamless. I highly recommend the Hyatt Centric for a bride who doesn’t have a wedding planner and is planning her event all on her own. I was super stressed about everything coming together and was shocked at how easy the planning process was with this venue. I had my own personal matraite, Matthew, who was so accommodating and helpful with any questions that I had. After our private party was finished at 10pm, we all headed on up to the Hyatt’s rooftop to enjoy the bourbon and cigar lounge in the beautiful summer air! The evening was truly magical!
The invitations is the party’s first impression on your guests and also the perfect way to get them excited for your big day! Stovall Collection can make your invitation uniquely you! The owner, Jodi asked me a few questions about my event and theme, and then helped me design the perfect look for my event. We chose envelope colors, special envelope lining that matched my masquerade theme, the invitation font, color, and card stock, as well as custom RSVP cards. There are so many things you have to consider when creating an invitation so it is super important to use a company, such as Stovall Collections, to help you check all the boxes.
The Jewels | Lauray’s Diamond Center
Lauray’s Jewelers in Hot Springs, AR are so special to us. Toddy and his team have truly become like family after we decided to purchase our wedding rings from them and even attended our wedding! When I went in to find the perfect band for Greg, they fit him for size, thickness, convex shape, metal, etc. So many things to consider when finding the perfect fit for your man. As far as women’s rings go, they have so many exclusive collections. When I saw the ring of my dreams, it was completely different from what I had in mind and from what everyone else has. If you want a truly unique ring, visit Toddy and his team at Lauray’s Diamond Center.
