Over the past few months I have been getting Emsculpt Neo treatments from A Beautiful You Medical Spa here in Memphis, Tennessee and I am thrilled with the results. In this post, I am sharing my before and after photos, as well as giving you all a little more information on Emsculpt Neo.
What is Emsculpt Neo?
Emsculpt Neo is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment designed to build and tone muscles in specific areas of the body. It uses a technology called High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) to induce powerful muscle contractions, which are much more intense than what you can achieve through voluntary muscle contractions during exercise. One 30 minute treatment is the equivalent of 25,000 sit-ups!
How Does Emsculpt Neo Work?
- Applicators: Emsculpt machines are equipped with applicators that are placed on the targeted area of the body, such as the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, or arms.
- HIFEM Technology: The applicator emits high-intensity electromagnetic pulses that stimulate muscle contractions. These contractions are so intense that they’re capable of breaking down fat cells and building muscle simultaneously.
- Muscle Contractions: During the treatment, your muscles will contract rapidly and repeatedly, similar to an intense workout. These contractions help strengthen and tone the muscles in the treated area.
- Fat Reduction: The intense muscle contractions also have the side effect of damaging fat cells in the area. This can lead to a reduction in fat and an improvement in body contour.
- Multiple Sessions: Emsculpt is typically done in a series of treatment sessions, with the number of sessions and the interval between them varying depending on the individual’s goals and the treatment area.
What Areas of the Body Does Emsculpt Neo Treat?
Emsculpt is often used to enhance the appearance of the abdomen, buttocks, flanks, and facial muscles making it a popular choice for people looking to achieve a more toned and sculpted physique without surgery.
Is Emsculpt Neo Safe?
It is considered a safe and non-surgical alternative to procedures like liposuction or surgical body contouring. However, it’s important to consult with a qualified healthcare provider, like A Beautiful You Medical Spa, to determine if Emsculpt Neo is a suitable option for your specific goals and needs, as results may vary from person to person.
Does Emsculpt Neo Hurt?
No! While Emsculpt Neo is a different sensation from anything I have ever felt before, it does not hurt.
