How to Celebrate National Italian Food Day

Celebrating fun national holidays together is a great way to create memories while encouraging family bonding. My boys’ favorite type of food by far is Italian food so I decided to celebrate National Italian Food Day with a variety of Michael Angelo’s Italian goodness.

Michael Angelo’s is our favorite brand of pre-cooked Italian foods. They do not navigate shortcuts when it comes to preparing and cooking their foods, taking their time to build flavors throughout the cooking process, and I must say, it shows!

After getting home from the grocery store I swiftly got to work cooking up our tasty Italian food celebration.

I always love to check the ingredient list when choosing meals for my family to ensure I am providing nutrients from ingredients that I trust. I love that Michael Angelo’s is a clean product with wholesome, simple ingredients.

Michael Angelo’s uses Parmesan and Romano cheeses made by experts who know how to age it to perfection.  Having tested tomatoes from all over the world, Michael Angelo’s only uses the reddest, grade A, vine-ripened tomatoes from Northern California!

Heirloom garlic is the cornerstone to many authentic Italian dishes. Michael Angelo’s uses heirloom garlic grown from Italian seed in their recipes providing a juice that ensures each clove caramelizes to perfection producing a consistently mild, sweet flavor.

We enjoyed the hearty Lasagna with meat sauce and Eggplant Parmigiana found in the freezer aisle at Kroger. If you don’t have a Kroger near you, you can search the nearest retailer here.

Oh, and for my fellow females that are always on the go, Michael Angelo’s makes single serve meals for easy, delicious lunches! My favorite s the 3 Cheese Ziti and the Chicken Parmigiana.
