Spooky Sausage and Cheese Platter

This is such a simple fix for a last minute Halloween party snack idea. In this post, I am teaching you how to turn a traditional sausage and cheese board into a spooky snack!

Sausage, Cheese, and Crackers

Of course your basic sausage and cheese board has sausage, cheese, and crackers, but what are the best options? Hands down, my favorite sausage is Country Pleasin’ Pork and Pineapple and Mr. Greg likes Dane’s Andoullie sausage. As for cheeses, I use pepperjack, smoked gouda, and cheddar cheese for my board.

Now for the game changer! You will want to sprinkle the entire board with Doe’s Steak Seasoning. It has a sweet yet savory flavor that really makes this snack!

I add a few pepperoncinis to my board because I love taking a bite of pepperoncini with my sausage and cheese. Mr Greg really likes pickled onions to get that vinegar taste.

Add A Spooky Food

I love some great gourmet deviled eggs and have found that the flavor palette of this snack is perfect for a charcuterie board. Deveiled eggs are super easy to turn into spooky eyeballs. Here is my favorite Eyeball Deviled Egg Recipe from Happy Foods Tube.

The Keeper of the Board

Now to add the ultimate spook. I found these flexible, posable skeletons on Amazon. (Affiliate link)
They come in a pack of 3 and can be posed so many different ways. They are 15.7 inches and great quality for the price at only $13!
