Super Juices and Smoothies

I have found it very hard to get nutrition in during my busy work day, and that is when I decided to try smoothies and nutritional juices for lunch! After a little research and trial and error, I have discovered a few juices and smoothies that are absolutely delish and are also packed with tons of nutritional value.

Green Super Juice

I love this juice because it includes a few super rich nutritional ingredients for a powerful boost and internal cleanse. Kale is one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet as it is loaded with powerful antioxidants like quercetin and kaempferol. This juice also contains Hawaiian Spirulina which is one of nature’s original superfood supplements that supports immunity, cardiovascular, energy, and cells. As one of the most nutritious, concentrated whole foods known to humankind, one 3 gram serving of Hawaiian Spirulina will provide you with 60% protein and is an excellent source of vitamins A, K1, K2, B12, and iron and be a source of health-giving phytonutrients such as carotenoids, GLA, SOD, and phycocyanin.

Vanilla Strawberry Banana Cake Smoothie

The strawberry banana shake smoothie is thick, creamy, and tastes like cake! I make this one with the USANA plant-based Nutrimeal meal replacement. Nutrimeal is a weight-loss shake formulated as a perfectly nutritious meal replacement. It contains 15 g of protein and 8 g of fiber and  low-glycemic index to help reduce carbohydrate cravings and provide sustained energy and keep you full longer.

Ingredients:
3 Scoops of USANA Nutrimeal
1 Banana
5 Medium Strawberries
10 oz of Coconut Water

Combine all the ingredients into your blender and blend away!
