Unique Spring Fashion Revamp Ideas

I don’t know about you, but every spring, I get in the mood to completely revamp my closet. Lately, my revamp has consisted of timeless pieces that are more of a collectible versus fast fashion trend. Today, I am sharing my favorite spring collectibles and a few spring fashion hacks.

Try a Clothing Rental Subscription Box

This is the easiest way to revamp your style without a huge investment. Of any investment at all! There are tons of clothing rental subscription boxes but, of course, I recommend The Style Vamp because it is my personal brand.

With my company, The Style Vamp, you get two items to try at a time. Once you receive your items, you wear them as many times as you want and then, if you don’t want to purchase them, you place them in the pre-labeled shipping bag and send them back. If you get something in your Style Vamp box that you just have to have in your personal collection, you can sign on to your account and purchase the item at a SUPER DISCOUNTED price.

I love getting out of my comfort zone by trying Style Vamp items without having to purchase them unless I want to keep them at home.

Want to try The Style Vamp for free? Of course you do! I am giving every one who reads this post one month free to try out the service, no strings attached. Just click here to sign up and start revamping your style.

Add Local Designers to your Spring Wardrobe

I am a HUGE fan of shopping local especially since everything seems to be mass produced a poor quality. Besides, purchasing from small business makers means you are getting a unique, quality good while also supporting small business. Here are a few local Memphis designers that I have recently collected from.

Love Leigh Designs

Love Leigh Designs is a Memphis maker that recycles designer hardware from purses, luggage, shirts, etc. and makes jewelry from them. For example, Chanel buttons are made into earrings. Gucci locks are made into necklaces, and Louis Vuitton emblems are made into bracelets. This is such a great way to get an up-cycled piece of designer hardware repurposed into a jewelry item.

Beg and Borrow

Beg and Borrow entered the Memphis fashion scene by first offering custom designed and fitted button up shirts to women. Co-founder Monte Stewart has an extensive background in custom men’s clothing. When he began to see the demand for tailored shirts in the female market, he decided to launch a line to accommodate, along side of fashion stylist and co-founder Lauren Draffin.

When getting fitted for my Beg and Borrow custom made shirt, Monte and Lauren took my measurements and then shared a variety of fabric options to choose from. I wanted my piece to be more of a crisp button up dress so they measured the length down to my mid thigh and made sure to include room so that it wouldn’t be tight around my hips. They also embroidered my name in the neckline for a special personal touch.

Collect Gently Used Designer Handbags

I LOVE a great designer piece but my pocket book doesn’t. To be quite transparent, financially, I don’t have it like that, therefore I have to get crafty to get the brands that I cherish. Authentic Luxuries offers preloved and vintage fashion items, bringing timeless sophistication and charm to your wardrobe. With brands like Chanel, YSL, Prada, Gucci, and more, you are sure to find the perfect fashion staple to elevate your wardrobe. There is no better way to get pre-loved designer bags and accessories for less!

Support Quality Makers All Around the World

It is always best to support artists and designers in your home country, but through my travels, I have met some pretty amazing makers from all over the world who are trying to make a name for themselves and their brand. Laura Laureto is a designer that I met in Italy whose incredible story behind her designs has made me an instant fan.

Meet the Laura Laureto Breadbag Clutch above. The story about this design was so authentically relatable that I could even imagine myself in Laura’s shoes as a child. Once quiet afternoon in the Tuscan village of Cortana, I popped into a shop after admiring the beautiful designs in the window. Laura was behind the counter and it because evident very quickly that she was the designer. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet with a talented Italian designer, so naturally, I began asking all the questions. She told me that when she was a little girl, that she would put all of her belongings in a bread bag for the day, roll it up, and go on her way. The breadbag became like her first purse. When she began designing items for her line, she remembered the practicality of the breadbag and designed a higher end leather clutch breadbag.

Finally, you can also elevate your spring style with a simple watch band swap. Bright, colorful silicone watch bands can add a playful vibe to your outfit, while leather or metal options keep it sleek and sophisticated. It’s an easy way to refresh your look without a big investment!
