How Can I Give Myself a Facial At Home?

I love going to the spa every other month for a deep cleanse facial but spa treatments can be a little pricey, therefore I supplement in between my visits with an intensive at home facial. In this post, I am sharing my Amazon live on all of the products I use for my at home facials, as well as answer some of your top questions about treating your skin at home. WARNING: My skin is so broken out in the video attached, but you will see a massive transformation throughout the video!

Below is a recap of my Amazon Live Intensive at Home Facial Video. I have also included image links to my Amazon Store below. If you would like to shop the products, just click on the images! 4 Easy Steps for an At Home Facial

Cleanse

I use the PCA Skin Pigment Bar with my PMD Clean Pro to not only deep cleanse, but to brighten my skin while doing so. The PMD Clean vibrates at a frequency that shakes the dirt and oil from deep within our pores to the surface of your skin. Often times, this will cause a purge which could mean breakouts after your facial, but this is a good thing. This means your skin is dumping out all of the environmental dirt and debris that it has taken in due to being exposed to the elements.

Extract

If you are like me and like Dr Pimple Popper, you are going to LOVE this part. Now that we have cleared the dead skin, time to extract those dirty pores. The key here is to use a facial steamer. I really like the PURE facial steamer because you do not have to wait long for it to begin to steam and the output of steam and heat is perfect for relaxing and opening the pores for extraction. The PURE facial steamer also has a humidifier and warm towel setting, making it very multifunctional.

Once you have steamed, you can now extract using an extracting tool. Watch the video above to see how I extract.

After I complete my extractions, I apply a glycolic acid to my skin to further blast any left over dirt and to exfoliate a little further. I do A LOT of exfoliating and my skin can handle it. If you feel like your skin is getting irritated or if you have sensitive skin, you may want to skip this step or use a very low concentrate of glycolic acid.

Exfoliate

Now it is time to remove dead skin from the surface so that you can open the pore pathways for purging. My number one powerhouse tool in my facial kit is the PMD Microderm Elite Pro. I cannot stress enough how this baby has transformed my skin. You can literally see the difference in the video as I use the tool. It’s like mowing the grass. You can see the new skin reveled with each strip that the PMD Microderm tool covers.

After the dead skin is removed, I use my pumpkin enzyme facial mask to further exfoliate and blast the dirt within my pores. If you have sensitive skin, or feel like this may be too much exfoliation, I highly suggest the PMD Recovery Anti-Aging Collagen Infused Sheet Mask. I use these masks when I am not having a breakout and want to super infuse my skin with collagen. These are by far my favorite sheet masks. I always feel completely renewed after using them and can see immediate results after using them.

While my mask is doing its work, I like to use my Buxom Power-full lip scrub to remove dead skin before pluming and hydrating them with my PMD Kiss device. I also use the Earththeraputics Recovery Gold Hydrogel Mask for my under eyes.

Treat

Now that your skin is squeaky clean, it is time to infuse it with vitamins, hydration, and protection. I always use an eye cream, facial moisturizer, SPF, and because I often have chapped lips, a hydrating lip treatment. I have included the items I used below.
