Summer months mean fun in the sun, but they also mean embarrassing sweat stains. Some of us sweat more than others, but regardless, we all sweat and it is not only uncomfortable but it can be humiliating when it shows through your clothes. In this post, We are going to share ways to reduce sweat, and remove sweat stains from your clothes.
I used to avoid white tee shirts because after a few wears, the under arm area would look discolored. It’s super embarrassing but yea, like a lot of people, I sweat. I am happy to say that white has made a major come back in my closet, because I have officially figured out how to remove discoloration from sweat stains!

Vinegar Mix
Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water and soak the stained fabric in the mixture for about 30 minutes. You should see the stain lift but, if the stain is still present, you may need to try hydrogen peroxide.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Do not use bleach, use hydrogen peroxide as it acts similar to bleach. Bleach can actually make the stain worse!
When using hydrogen peroxide, you will just need to blot the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes before laundering your garment in hot water.

Fun Fact
You are not alone, there are 37 million people in the United States who suffer from excessive sweat! You can reduce sweat by wearing an antiperspirant, not deodorant. Yes! There is a difference. Antiperspirants can significantly reduce the amount of sweat your under arms produce.
MiraDry is an easy treatment that can be completed within an hour in a med spa that can reduce up to 86% of your sweat glands, reduce hair growth, and minimize odor. MiraDry removes the glands while cooling the skin at the same time. Because hair follicles are in close proximity to the sweat glands, many hair follicles in the underarm area are also removed during the procedure to minimize hair. Now that I am rocking white tees again, let me share a little info about my outfit!
If you want to add a statement to your minimal white tee look, a blingy hair barrette is the way to go! I love a great pair of stretchy distressed jeans with my white tee. To minimize the waist line, try a little front tuck and leave the back of your tee untucked.

As with your hair statement, you can really rock your best shoes with this minimal look as well. Go for some strappy heels or even a great pair of pumps.
