First thing’s first, what is a hydrafacial treatment? What are the benefits of a hydrafacial? The hydradermabrasion procedure combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection, which will result in clearer, more radiant skin with no pain or downtime. I found the treatment to be very relaxing, skin soothing, and perfect for my recently hormonal breakouts. In this post, I will explain the 5 benefits of a hydrafacial and also give you the opportunity to experience one of your own!
5 Benefits to Getting a Hydrafacial
Remove Dead Skin
Step one is a hydradermabrasion treatment, which is much like a microdermabrasion in that is uses hard, non painful blasts of water to gently remove the dead skin cells that are sitting at the surface of your face. Naturally, skin will slough off with our 28 day cycle but the older we get, the more our skin needs a little help to reveal the brighter, newer skin that lies beneath. The hydrafacial will do just that!
Brighten Skin
After you receive the hydradermabrasion in step one, the hydra machine is set to distribute a low grade glycolic acid to the skin which will disintegrate any remaining dead skin cells and will also penetrate beneath the epidermis, working to quickly reveal and brighten the skin.
Deep Clean
The machine is then set to suction out the blackheads and whiteheads in problem areas, such as your chin, nose, and forehead. The entire time the hydra machine is working, it is collecting the grime that is extracted from your face in a cylinder. I love that you can physically see the detoxification that this procedure does on your skin.
Infuse Skin
This facial is perfect for all skin types because when it comes to the treatment portion, your esthetician can create a cocktail specifically for your skin’s needs. Once the cocktail is created, it is then infused into the skin to help correct any concerns that you may have.
Sterilize Skin
The light therapy session during the hydrafacial is very unique. There are two lights that your esthetician can choose from, one to reduce redness and the other to reduce acne.
I could see a difference with just one treatment however, if you schedule one facial a month as prescribed by the estheticians at A Beautiful You Medical Spa, your skin will see a significant improvement. I love that you can even add a microblade treatment to the the hydrafacial to further exfoliate and furthermore, remove blonde peach fuzz that the lasers are not able to target.
I really need this facial! Help!!!!
